This beautiful all-color book was published by The Railroad Press in July 2001. Anthracite Classics covers the PRR, RDG, LV and CNJ, mostly in the early 1950s to the mid-60s. PRR steam is in abundance in Enola and Northumberland in the early 1950s. Reading steam and early diesels are shown, along with early diesels of the Lehigh Valley and Central RR of New Jersey. You will find Decapods, Consolidations, Northerns, ALCo FAs, RS3s, RS11s, F3s, FP7s, GP7s and much, much more!

This 48-page book is filled with a nice variety of classic images from the Anthracite Roads, including a nice mixture of main line, branch line and yard photographs, along with maps and a comprehensive index.
